JEDEC trays
The trays allow the packaging of C.M.S. components and the picking up of components by the placement machines.
The external dimensions of all our JEDEC tray dies are 322.6 x 136mm. The ends of the trays are different to ensure the correct orientation of the tray in the machine. Also, to ensure the correct orientation of the component in the tray, a 45 degree chamfer is on one corner of the tray.
JEDEC trays are stackable within the same tray family or model. An empty tray can be used to cover the top of a stack. It is recommended that the stack of trays be securely fastened with Velcro grade ESD strap.
Carbon fibre or carbon powder is combined in a mould to make ESD safe trays.
Strap
The strap is conductive with velcro for packing and fixing the JEDEC trays.
The strap can also be used to secure component tubes.

Colored clips
These colored clips for JEDEC trays are used for quick visual identification for sorting, aging, testing, etc.
These clips are anti-static, reusable.
It is possible to put them in an oven (125°C).
They are brightly colored (see table on the left).
